Facial

Before Your Appointment

To help you receive the best results from your facial, please review the following:

  • Complete your Facial Intake Form before your appointment.

  • Arrive with clean skin whenever possible. Makeup removal can be included if needed.
  • Avoid retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin, adapalene, retinal, etc.) for 3–5 days before your appointment unless otherwise directed.
  • Avoid exfoliating products (AHAs, BHAs, scrubs, enzymes) for 3 days before your treatment.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning for at least one week before your appointment.
  • If you have recently received Botox or dermal fillers, please let us know when booking so we can recommend appropriate timing.
  • Inform your provider of any changes to your health, medications, pregnancy status, allergies, or skin concerns before your treatment.

After Your Appointment

Your skin may appear slightly pink or feel more sensitive than usual for several hours.

For the next 24–48 hours:

  • Keep your skincare routine gentle.
  • Wear SPF 30 or higher daily.
  • Avoid excessive heat, hot tubs, saunas, and intense exercise if your skin feels sensitive.
  • Avoid exfoliating products, retinoids, and active ingredients until your skin has returned to normal.
  • Stay hydrated to support healthy skin.

Advanced Skin Treatments

Includes Chemical Peels and Microneedling

Before Your Appointment

These treatments require proper preparation for safety and optimal results.

Please:

  • Complete your Advanced Treatment Intake Form before your appointment.

  • Avoid retinoids for 5–7 days prior.
  • Avoid exfoliating acids, scrubs, and enzymes for 5–7 days prior.
  • Avoid waxing, threading, laser treatments, or other facial procedures for at least one week before your appointment.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning for two weeks before treatment.
  • Notify your provider if you:are pregnant or breastfeedinghave active cold soreshave an active skin infection or rashhave recently started Accutane (isotretinoin)have recently had Botox or fillers
  • Stay well hydrated before your appointment.

After Your Appointment

Healing is an important part of your results.

For the first 24–72 hours (or as instructed):

  • Keep treated skin clean.
  • Do not pick, peel, or scratch the skin.
  • Use only the recommended post-treatment products.
  • Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours after microneedling or as instructed.
  • Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, vitamin C, acids, and active ingredients until your provider advises they may be resumed.
  • Avoid excessive sweating, saunas, hot tubs, swimming pools, and direct sun exposure.
  • Wear SPF 30+ daily and avoid tanning throughout the healing process.
  • Stay hydrated.

Some redness, dryness, flaking, or mild peeling is expected depending on the treatment performed.

If you experience severe swelling, signs of infection, or have concerns during healing, please contact us promptly.

Massage

Before Your Appointment

To help you receive the greatest benefit from your massage:

  • Complete your Massage Intake Form before your appointment.

  • Arrive 5–10 minutes early to relax before your session.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
  • Avoid eating a heavy meal immediately before your appointment.
  • Wear comfortable clothing.
  • Inform your therapist of any injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy, medications, or medical conditions that may affect your treatment.

After Your Appointment

Massage encourages circulation and relaxation, and it's normal to feel deeply relaxed afterward.

To support your recovery:

  • Drink extra water throughout the day.
  • Gentle movement or stretching can help maintain the benefits of your massage.
  • Avoid strenuous activity immediately afterward if possible.
  • Mild soreness may occur for 24–48 hours, particularly after deep tissue work.
  • Continue any recommended self-care or stretching exercises provided by your therapist.

Waxing

Before Your Appointment

For the best waxing experience:

  • Complete your Waxing Intake Form before your appointment.

  • Hair should be approximately ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice).
  • Avoid shaving for at least 2–3 weeks before your appointment.
  • Gently exfoliate the treatment area 24–48 hours beforehand.
  • Avoid applying heavy lotions or oils on the day of your appointment.
  • Avoid retinoids, prescription acne medications, or exfoliating products on facial waxing areas for at least 5–7 days prior.
  • Please let us know if you are using Accutane, blood thinners, or have recently had cosmetic procedures.

After Your Appointment

The treated area may feel slightly tender and appear pink for several hours.

For the next 24–48 hours:

  • Avoid hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and hot baths.
  • Avoid vigorous exercise that causes excessive sweating.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning.
  • Avoid exfoliating the treated area.
  • Wear loose-fitting clothing after body waxing whenever possible.
  • Keep the area clean and moisturized with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer.

Beginning 2–3 days after your appointment, regular gentle exfoliation can help reduce the chance of ingrown hairs.
